- Throw a party at your place and charge people an entrance fee.
- Make ashtrays out of soda cans and charge smokers 20cents per flick on the street.
- Take up knitting or crochet and sell you creations to friends and colleagues.
- Print some flyers about the city you live in and offer your services on the street as a tour guide.
- Set up an internet cafe in your living room. You can sell coffees and charge per minute.
- Rent out or sub let your spare room to students.
- Put a donations box on your porch with a sign saying something like "please be generous, I can´t pay my rent this month." You could even go all Blue Peter and put up a barometer with your target amount on it!
- Collect cans on the street and in trash and sell them to a recycling company.
- Offer taxi services to your neighbours. (Note. Only accept jobs if you were planning on going to that place anyway. obs: saves gas)
- Become a street performer/Busk
- Separate some stuff to sell, get a blanket and lay it out on the floor outside your local church/busy pedestrian area. = Car boot with no car!
- Hire out your party dresses for special events like graduations, weddings and balls.
- Sell dental floss by the strand to customers leaving restaurants.
- Write a blog about how to make money.
- Film yourself falling over or dancing to Beyonce and post it on YouTube.
- Offer to draw caricatures of people in the street. (Even if you can only draw stick people!)
- Become a fortune teller.
- Cultivate maggots and sell them as fishing tackle. All you need is some old sweet food, 72 hours and a willing fly....
- Hire yourself out as an escort.
- Rescue stray animals from the streets and sell them in your local paper or online.
